Berliner Immobilienkongress: “Demand for offices remains high”

As a member of the Commercial Panel, Patrick Will, Director of Letting and Global Sales with PROJECT Immobilien Gewerbe AG, took part in the discussion on current developments in the Berlin (office) property market. In his view, demand for offices in the German capital will remain consistently high in 2018 and 2019.

“We can assume that rents will continue to rise. From 2020 onward, I expect rents to move horizontally,” Patrick Will says. He sees particular potential in the city outskirts: “The corridor to the new BER airport is an important axis. I would say, however, that the greater Berlin area as a whole still has plenty of interesting development sites for project developers.”

In keeping with this assessment, PROJECT Immobilien is currently planning space-efficient offices at the Business Park Berlin, the Techno Terrain Teltow, at Europarc Dreilinden in Kleinmachnow and in other sustainable and fast-growing locations in the greater Berlin area.
