PROJECT Immobilien leases hotel planned for construction in Potsdam to tristar GmbH
The site recently purchased by PROJECT Immobilien on the corner of Babelsberger Strasse and Friedrich-List-Strasse in Potsdam will provide not only office rental space, but also house a hotel with around 200 rooms and an underground carpark. Hotel operator tristar has already signed the lease.

tristar GmbH is a Berlin-based company specialising in brand-name hotels. The 200-room doublebrand-hotel will be operated in cooperation with franchise partner Accor Hotels under the brand names “ibis Styles” and “ibis Budget”. Approximately 7,200m² gross floor area has been leased for 20 years. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
PROJECT Immobilien also aims to create around 3,700m² of office rental space on the site. On the neighbouring site, which was acquired at the end of 2017, PROJECT Immobilien plans to construct another office complex with around 12,000m² of commercial space in three construction phases.
