SIL/BER workspace: PROJECT Immobilien Wohnen und Gewerbe GmbH realizes commercial complex in Berlin-Neukölln
At Silbersteinstrasse 16 in the Berlin district of Neukölln in the up-and-coming area around the two traffic hubs S-Bahn Neukölln and S-Bahn station Herrmannstrasse, the project developer PROJECT Immobilien Wohnen und Gewerbe GmbH is developing the new office and commercial building “SIL/BER workspace”. The commercial complex has a total rental area of approx. 2,500m² spread over five floors.

The building is being constructed by PROJECT Immobilien Wohnen und Gewerbe GmbH to close the gap in the existing Gründerzeit style perimeter development. A total of four full floors and one staggered floor will be created, which can be designed flexibly and tenant-specifically with regard to the floor plans and division of the rental units.
Demolition work is expected to begin at the end of 2020. According to current plans, the shell of the building will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2022, and the building is expected to be ready for occupancy in the third quarter of 2022.
